How to use alternates and swashes

Type a number after a letter to use an alternative character. For example, in Pizza2, the a2 combination becomes an alternate letterform. To add an end swash, try ]1 through ]28.

Choose a ready-made phrase from Select Preview Text in the font tester to explore the combinations. The included help file provides further guidance.

Designed for vintage lettering and beyond

The Original is suited to logos, stationery, retro lettering, vintage headings, wedding invitations and letterpress addresses. The flowing script and decorative swashes can give branding and packaging a distinctive handcrafted feel.

The font works in Templett, Canva, Microsoft Word and other applications. It supports Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and more.
