Big Dreamer

I Am Not a Designer — I Am a Dreamer

On April 9, 1982, a dreamer was born — someone you now know as a font designer. To be honest, I am not a designer, not an artist, and not an inventor. I am a dreamer, and my dreams have a way of coming true.

In 2015, I began my journey in type design. On one hand, it was a way to survive — I needed to provide for my family, and unexpectedly, this became the only direction that started bringing income. But I wouldn’t be myself if I treated it simply as a job. I started creating a font and gave it a destiny — to become popular worldwide, to be desired by wedding invitation designers, to become a legend.

But how do you achieve all that when you barely know anything? Then again, does it really matter when there’s a dreamer living inside you?

I created and dreamed, diving deeper into creativity every day. I worked incredibly hard, yet I never felt tired. Sometimes it even seemed like I didn’t fully understand what I was doing — the creativity was just flowing through me. I was simply trying to keep up with the endless stream of ideas for this new font.

When the time came to launch, I remember being overwhelmed with doubts and fears that everything I had created might not be needed by anyone. Technical issues began to appear, and I reached out to experienced professionals for guidance. These were small problems that I quickly overcame. And then, unexpectedly, I received my very first compliment.

The font hadn’t even been released yet, but at that moment I realized it had a big future.
That’s how my most popular font, Mozart, was born.

Ten years later, I returned with a reimagined version — Mozart II Pro.

It became a natural continuation of the original. But I must admit, I still haven’t surpassed that very first Mozart. My newer fonts are far more professional, far more refined technically, but that first Mozart had a soul — something I still find impossible to recreate.

That wasn’t just the birth of a font — it was the birth of a dream. And today, I can say with great joy that this dream has come true. It’s hard to imagine a designer today who hasn’t heard of it.

Recently, I attended a concert with an audience of 5,000 people. Standing there, I realized — that’s about the number of people who purchased my font on Creative Market. In reality, the number is much higher, since Creative Market is just one of the platforms where it was available. But it’s an incredible feeling to see that what once seemed unreachable has now become real.

And now, I stand at the threshold of new dreams.

In recent years, especially with the war in a neighboring country, I’ve been more cautious about dreaming — to be honest, I almost stopped dreaming altogether. But now I feel that young dreamer inside me awakening again — the one who cannot imagine life without big, almost cosmic ideas.

How much I want these bright ideas to find their place in this world.

Something has already started to shift — the right people are coming into my life, events are unfolding. And just like before, I protect my dreams with gratitude and care.

Thank you all for supporting me and for choosing my fonts. I grow together with you, and I can no longer imagine my life without you.

Thank you, my dear friends.
