On April 9, 1982, a dreamer was born — someone you now know as a
font designer. To be honest, I am not a designer, not an artist, and not an inventor. I am a dreamer, and my dreams have a way of coming true.
In 2015, I began my journey in type design. On one hand, it was a way to survive — I needed to provide for my family, and unexpectedly, this became the only direction that started bringing income. But I wouldn’t be myself if I treated it simply as a job. I started creating a font and gave it a destiny — to become popular worldwide, to be desired by wedding invitation designers, to become a legend.
But how do you achieve all that when you barely know anything? Then again, does it really matter when there’s a dreamer living inside you?
I created and dreamed, diving deeper into creativity every day. I worked incredibly hard, yet I never felt tired. Sometimes it even seemed like I didn’t fully understand what I was doing — the creativity was just flowing through me. I was simply trying to keep up with the endless stream of ideas for this new font.
When the time came to launch, I remember being overwhelmed with doubts and fears that everything I had created might not be needed by anyone. Technical issues began to appear, and I reached out to experienced professionals for guidance. These were small problems that I quickly overcame. And then, unexpectedly, I received my very first compliment.
The font hadn’t even been released yet, but at that moment I realized it had a big future.
That’s how my
most popular font, Mozart, was born.
